It’s no secret that times are tough, which is why James & Maggie Robertson have decided to auction off their new child, temporarily called ‘Yoshi’ in order to buy the forthcoming rerelease of an emulated port of a rehashed game that originally came out two decades ago.
“I love this game,” said James. “I got it when it first came out, then I bought the other version that released a few years later, before picking up another copy when it became part of a limited package. I can’t wait to play this thing again on Nintendo’s amazing new console that’s exactly the same as their last one,” beamed a jubilant James.
James tells us that his partner, Maggie, wasn’t sure about giving up their child at first. James managed to wear her down and ultimately convinced her that it was the right thing to do though.
“I just told her we’d make another one,” laughed James. “Maybe we can use it as collateral against whatever Nintendo’s got up its sleeve? They’re always cooking up something new for us dedicated mega-fans,” He added.
“I LOVE NINTENDO” Screamed James, as we were leaving.
