Clive Jones (University of Science) made the bold claims during the University’s celebrity-endorsed fund raising event.
Taking to the stage, Clive confidently announced “Domestic dogs come in all colours, shapes and sizes and cats are just one of those variations.”
When challenged about his claims, Clive snorted, “I’ve been the head of the department for several years and I can say and do as I please.” He proceeded to make loud hissing noises as he walked away.
Canis, the genus that includes, but is not limited to wolves and dogs and Feline or Felidae, the family of mammals comprising of lions and tigers are classified as separate species.
Clive refused to answer any of our questions. He was later spotted by the refreshments tent, deep in conversation with Simply Red’s Mick Hucknall and TV personality Bruno Tonioli.
